Green Mosque (Yesil Camil) is a 15th-century mosque located on East Bursa, on a hilltop near the Green Tomb, overlooking the city. The mosque is a part of the Kulliye complex, which includes the mosque, kitchen, a madrasah (Islamic school), royal burials, and a Hammam (Turkish bath). The mosque's interior is built with turquoise tiles, which gives it its name.The Green Mosque is open to the public from all religions, though the prayer halls will be closed during the time of Namaz.

The mosque's exterior has a garden with cypress trees and the tomb (Yesil Turbe) of Sultan Mehmet - 1, who built the mosque, which is also decorated with the same tiles. The mosque is the first Marble building by the Ottomans in Turkey. The vakif’s office, with the original inscriptions and tiles from the time when the mosque was constructed in 1412, is also another attraction. Visitors are expected to dress modestly and leave their shoes outside.
