The Orhan Gazi Tomb is the final resting place of Orhan Gazi, the second ruler of the Ottoman Empire, located in Tophane Park in Bursa, Turkey. The tomb is housed in a restored 19th-century structure that stands on the site of a Byzantine church. Visitors can explore its historical significance and admire its serene setting with views overlooking Bursa’s cityscape.
There are architectural styles of the Byzantine Era that can be observed. The sarcophagus of Orhan Gazi is situated in the centre, on a marble base and is surrounded by a lattice made of brass. The sarcophagi of Orhan Gazi’s wife, son and other associates are also present in the mausoleum.
