Being the largest mosque in Morocco, the Hassan II mosque is a real marvel to look at. Magnificently built and displaying the sheer brilliance of Moroccan architecture, it is almost seven hundred feet tall. It is the only mosque in Casablanca which is open to tourists. Tours are organised at 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM every day.
Hassan II Mosque, the seventh largest mosque in the world, is well known and one of the most visited tourist spots in the country. The mosque's minarets are spectacularly built. Established in 1993, the minaret is a sixty-story high topped by glittering laser light. Beautifully designed, this stunning landmark was partially built on the land and partially over the Atlantic Ocean, which makes it all the more interesting. Also open to non-Muslims, this beautiful mosque displays a strong Moorish influence, which is quite evident from its architecture.
