The Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh organises the festival in December each year; and at the time of this festival, different varieties of Chrysanthemum flowers are put on display for the visitors to see and appreciate. The exhibition does not focus only on a particular group but has something or the other to offer to all its visitors. Other than the flowers on display, one can also see attractions such as animal figures made out of flowers, Rangolis made out of flowers, spectacular flower arrangements, statues showcasing the culture of Punjab, and flower exhibitions amongst others. An exciting quiz on flowers, with particular emphasis on Chrysanthemums, is also conducted and is followed by cultural programmes and prize distribution ceremonies.
