Q. what's the current climatic conditions in COORG?? after these floods any major effect for visitors who plans now?? Please update me we are planning this weekend, whether it's correct time time to come there or not. Thanks in advance.

Hi, Coorg was quite badly affected by the recent floods, and was one of the worst affected districts in Karnataka. There were a lot of landslides across the district, and infact a number of coffee pl (Read More)antations were totally destroyed. A number of roads leading up to Coorg had landslides, and buses to Coorg were cancelled or diverted. Given that, I highly recommend that you plan some alternate option to visit Coorg. If you have a prior booking with a resort/hotel, maybe you can talk to the hotel and check with them, but I still suggest you plan your on a later date if possible.

There are budget hotels in Madikeri where you can lodge your students. Hilltown Hotel is one good option. You can talk to the hotel owners and arrive at a reasonable deal since it is a group booking. (Read More)
