City Hall, Copenhagen Overview

Copenhagen city hall is a landmark building that serves as the city's administrative center. Built-in the Art Nouveau style by architect Martin Nyrop in 1905, the building is famous for being the tallest in Copenhagen. It offers a scenic view of the city from the apex height of 105.6 meters.

The building's facade is adorned with ornate decor, and the clock tower and a statue of Absalom are prominent features inside. Adding to the aesthetic appearance of the building, the neighbourhood garden has been beautified with large trees and shrubs. You should not miss the view of the Tivoli Gardens from the city hall tower that is 300 steps away.
