Sondermarken, Copenhagen Overview
Sondermarken is a large park in the area that is bordered by the Valby and Carlsberg neighborhoods of the city and features ancient architecture and beautiful landscapes. There is a lake in the Park that offers an enchanting view during sunsets and a memorial mound.
Besides having three underground cisterns, the park includes a monument to Adam Oehlenschlager. There are a variety of plants that grow wild in the park, as well as meadows and trees and numerous colorful bird species in the park. Local visitors love the park as a jogging and walking space for its hilly yet forest-like surroundings. Sondermarken's Children's Park is a favorite place for kids to ride the slides and play other games
