The Tycho Brahe Planetarium in Copenhagen is an advanced centre for astronomy and space research that aims to increase knowledge about the natural stars of the universe. The planetarium was established in 1989 at the southern end of the lake Skt Jorgens So in Copenhagen.
Tycho Brahe designed the planetarium as the research and edutainment arena in the space-age design. There are various exhibitions and shows on the dome-shaped planetarium of the Space Theatre with a big IMAX screen. Besides being home to the largest lunar rock in the whole world, the state-of-the-art planetarium allows visitors to discover more than 7500 stars, multiple galaxies, and planets. Additionally, some shows showcase the stories of dinosaurs and the history of Galapagos Island.
