Agios Gordios is a holiday resort village situated 5 km off the west coast of Corfu island. Besides the beautiful landscapes, one of the striking features here is that it is bordered by Ortholithi, which is a huge rock emerging from the sea. Agios Gordios is a rather noisy and busy beach yet an ideal summer vacation destination.
It stretches across 1 km, its southern end being sandy, whereas its northern end is pebbly. The beach houses a hotel with the same name and a pink palace, sunbeds, umbrellas, and watersports for tourists. Some of the fun water activities here are banana rides, peddle boats, motor boats, and canoes available at the beach. Agios took its name from a church located at the center of the beach.
