A Cupulatta Turtle Park is an endeavour to nurture and conserve turtles and tortoises. The site covers an area of 2.5 ha and houses over 170 different species of tortoises. From new borns to fully grown and aging turtles, from the tiny cherry turtles to the giant Galapagos, it is a home to all.
These species are highly cared for in a beautiful environment. Apart from the turtles in their natural habitat, this place is also known for its natural aesthetics. Since, turtles are amphibians, the site has protected water and land resources. The lakes and ponds surrounded by lush greenery, making the place really beautiful and definitely worth a visit. It is a place with perfect conditions for the animal to survive and grow healthily and happily.
For protection and research of these animals, a well-equipped clinic is there at this site. Two rooms with controlled tempratures and humidity are there, one to hatch females and the other for males. The newborns are stored here for 3-4 days to provide them with utmost care.
