Known as the heart of Da Lat, this manmade lake is a beautiful tourist site and a perfect place to relax. The banana-shaped lake was formed by a dam in 1919 and is named after a Vietnamese poet who was famous for his anti-authoritarian poems. One of the most popular activities that tourists undertake is to circumnavigate the lake's 7km surroundings on a bike or a moped.
Xuan Huong Lake lies in the centre of Da Lat and has become a major landmark for other destinations in town. It is a beautiful man-made lake with long peach and willow trees on the borders.
