Shopping at Han Market

The Han Market is divided into four sections for the convenience of the customers.

Local Produce section sells all sorts of food products that have been locally produced or reared- vegetables, fruits, sea-food, meat etc. There are some shops in front of the market selling fresh fruits and vegetables as well, at very nominal costs.

Dried Items section has a variety of food items, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Be it dried fruits like cashews, walnuts, raisins, almonds or shrimps - you have it all.

Clothes section has all sorts of textiles available, with special mention of the silk products, the one fabric that Vietnam is famous for.

Shoe section has both shops selling and repairing shops.

Souvenir shopping is definitely one of the major attractions at Han Market because of the price at which it is available. There are a number of beautiful ceramic items available alongside other goodies like uniquely designed rattan bags. The fabric stalls and tailors on the second floor are also quite popular. Shoes, cosmetics, home appliances are amongst the common products you will find here.

The Han Market food court offers you with authentic Vietnamese street food at extremely considerable and low rates. Be it pho through to banh mi or bun bo, or the extremely delicious mi quang, one of DA Nang’s specialities - chunky noodles in a light gravy, with a choice of meats or seafood, topped with crunchy rice crackers. Each of these dishes is available at VND 25000 to VND 30,000. There are other dishes as well like com tam (broken rice), banh xeo (pancakes), goi cuon (spring rolls), or just plain rice noodles topped with marinated beef and pork and buns steamed in banana leaves. How to Reach Han Market

Han Market is located on Tran Phu Street in Da Nang. That is where their main entrance is. The other entrances are on Bach Dang, Hang Vuong and Trang Hung Dao streets respectively. You can always take a cab ride to the market. Motorcycles are very common too, even for tourists. Dd chợ Hàn Bạch Đằng is the nearest bus station to the place.
