Museum of Sa Huynh & Champa Culture, Da Nang Overview
The Museum of Sa Huynh & Champa Culture is located on the way to My Son Sanctuary from Da Nang. The museum is located in in the town of Tra Kieu. It is a collection of relics from Sa Huynh and Champa cultures and traces various prehistoric cultures through artefacts and sculptures belonging to the Sa Huynh people and the Champa dynasty.
It is believed that these two dynasties were somehow related as it is a common feature to find the remains from these two cultures next to each other. The museum collection is located on the second floor and while the relics from Sa Huynh dynasty are quite spectacular, others are just about average but still worth a watch.
