Al Bidda Park, formerly known as Al Rumaila Park, is located near Doha Bay and is one of the oldest public parks in Doha. It includes a children's playground, small shops, the Cultural Village, and a cultural heritage centre. Wadi Al Sail, a historical valley located at the northernmost tip of the park, is famous as the sunrise point. The arched monument inside the park is a popular photography point and a well-known landmark.
The park has a vast collection of seasonal flora and fauna, including native butterflies, birds, plants, and trees. Visitors can witness the majestic Doha skyline at the steel bridge. The park has a natural rock, a restored watchtower, and a water plaza with water streams. Enjoy family time at the picnic tables, barbeque stations, and gazebos set within this area. The Amphitheatre regularly hosts outdoor cinema screenings and musical performances. Along with these attractions, the park offers a wide range of sports and recreational activities, including football, tennis, volleyball, basketball, and an artificial grass football pitch. The Qatar National theatre is nearby.
