With over 80 hectares to its name, the Aspire Park is the largest in the city. Khalifa Stadium, Al-Bayt Stadium(under Construction), Hamad Aquatic Center and the Aspire Zone which houses the Aspire Academy and one of the best indoor multi-purpose halls in the world are also worth visiting. The Aspire Zone is considered to be one of the landmark destinations for any kind of sports events rising into prominence after the 2006 Asian Games and is expected to be an important feature in the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Aspire Zone is also home to one of Qatar’s tallest structures, the Torch Tower and to Doha’s only lake, where ducks, geese and birds flock to get away from the desert heat. The park hosts many events and festivals throughout the year, mostly marathons and health/fitness related activities.
