The Qatar Weaponry Museum features a fascinating collection of weapons and armours dating back to as long as the 16th century. Based in the Al Luqta neighborhood, this museum can only be visited through appointments. With over 2300 exhibits, the museum showcases different kinds of swords and daggers, alongside firearm accessories and ceremonial weapons. The collection includes exquisite ceremonial swords that belonged to members of the Gulf's leading families, including a khanjar carried by the illustrious Lawrence of Arabia and an 18th-century gold-encased dagger acquired by Sheikh Ali Bin Abdullah Al Thani.
