This beautiful lodge includes 35 acre natural forest with magnificent teak trees, forest trees and an occasional silver oak. This place is trekkers, wildlife and bird watchers paradise as the natural waterfall that one can see in the month of monsoon is a joy to the eyes. The lodge is an ideal stop while going rafting on the river Kundalika. This lodge is perfect for day picnics, corporate outdoor training programs and family weekend as it is very close to Mumbai and Pune. The resort has 11 rooms, 4 dormitories, 13 tents, a swimming pool, a conference room, and a common dining hall which is open from 8:30am to 11:00pm. All rooms have attached bathrooms and the common dining hall provides delicious vegetarian meals, while the small swimming pool gives you a chance to relax.
Air: Chhatrapati International Airport is the nearest airport to Mumbai. It is around 105 km from Durshet. Taxis and cabs are available here. You can travel to Durshet via them.
Rail: Durshet does not have a railway station, and the nearest station is Mumbai, at a distance of 35 kms from Durshet.
Road: The Mumbai-Pune Expressway connects Mumbai to Durshet. The best way for travelling between Mumbai and Durshet is by car. Public transport buses also connect Durshet with nearby cities.
