Benagil Cave, Faro Overview

Benagil Cave is a renowned sea cave located near Benagil Beach in the Algarve region of southern Portugal. Famed for its distinctive dome structure featuring a natural skylight, the cave houses a secluded sandy beach within, illuminated by sunlight streaming through the opening. This unique formation has made it one of the Algarve's most iconic natural attractions. Visitors can enter the cave exclusively through authorized boat or guided kayak tours. Swimming into the cave is prohibited due to safety concerns.

Additionally, disembarking onto the cave's internal beach is not permitted; tours allow visitors to view and photograph the interior from their vessels.
