Ponte dos Ingleses or the English bridge is one of most visited attraction of the city. Situated on the beautiful Iracema beach, the bridge was constructed in 1921 as a part of an English project to improve the port network of Fortaleza. With the help of government, the bridge has been renovated and restored to its present glory where it serves as an ideal setting to get a panoramic view of the vast south Atlantic ocean and breath.
