The museum houses three halls:

Hall 1: Highlights the occupation of the region including trade, fishing and agriculture as well as pottery and weaving culture.

Hall 2: This one features ancient weapons, costumes and utensils used by people of an earlier period and region. Om Fateela, Al Roomeya and an ancient rifle that was known as Khedewi made in 1916 are some of the weapons on display. Also on show is an old house made of palm leaves that is one of the museums main attractions.

Hall 3: This is a hall of antiques comprising several artefacts unearthed from various locations such as pots made of steatite or chlorite, many kinds of mugs and cups and certain brass findings. A bowl crafted with ostrich egg dating back to 2200 years is among the key highlights. An ethnography section exhibiting the authentic Emirati way of life is worth exploring.
