One of the northernmost beaches of Goa, the secluded Mandrem Beach lies between Arambol and Ashwem Beach. The charm of Mandrem Beach lies in its secludedness as most tourists prefer visiting the other popular beaches in North Goa. The 790m long white sand beach is lined with tall palm and casuarina trees and is peppered with some small beach shacks.
Offering a beautiful sunset and calm ambience, Mandrem Beach is ideal for couples, people looking for solitude and foreign tourists. It is also a great place to spot crabs, kingfishers, herons and turtles and practice yoga and meditation. Mandrem Beach is joined by a small creek to the Arabian Sea and has several bridges that cross to the other side. The beauty of the beach reaches its peak during the high tide when seawater rushes into the Mandrem creek.
