Located on the border between New South Wales and Queensland, Point Danger is a headland on the southern end of the Gold Coast. The presence of dangerous coral reefs in the ocean near the region is the reason behind its name. There are multiple walking trails that provide breathtaking views of the coastline, and it is a popular tourist destination. Sightings of whales and dolphins, though rare, have also been reported. Round-the-year visits are permitted here.
