A very unique place to visit is the 'minijapan' in Haldia. This region is primarily inhabited by Japanese people. Employees of the Mitsubishi Chemicals Corporations (MCC) PTA (Purified Terephthalic Acid) inhabit this place in large numbers.
The place is rightly called minijapan, complete with its own Japanese eating joints, cinema halls and news station.
