Fava Beach is a small beach located just south of Karidi Beach, surrounded by beautiful forested mountains full of greenery and fantastic rock formations. The beach is a mix of sand and pebble, with large rocks in parts and crystal clear waters. The shallow waters are ideal for swimming.
A trek up Itamos Mountain offers some of the best views of the bay and people can dive into the ocean from the large rocks on the shore. The coast has plenty of luxurious villas and homes on the cliffs and rocks that shelter the beach below. It is an extraordinary sight to see as these houses also have private paths leading down to the beach. There are public trails, too, that lead down to the beach. Despite this, there is little development here as it is an unspoiled beach, and people can bring their own umbrellas. Some of the locals’ favourite beaches are right next to the beach, making this beach a part of other beaches.
