Kastri Beach is a sandy beach located at the entry point of the second peninsula of Halkidiki, Greece. It is pretty vast and easily accessible. A calm and peaceful place to relax, it has a few facilities and is suitable for families and couples. The sunsets from this beach are especially extraordinary, with a view of Mount Olympus on days of clear weather.
The beach is not well-known to visitors yet and might be a bit difficult to locate. It is enclosed by two little capes, with one end having a little rocky island that is prominent in the area. It has rich historical significance as the south cape of the rocky island is suspected to be the location of the ancient city of Galepsus, despite the lack of ruins found. There is only a cemetery with leftover pottery there.
