Wildlife Sanctuary, Hastinapur Overview

Also called as the Hastinapur National Park, this sanctuary spread across an area of 2073 sq km has been a home to a wide variety of flora and fauna.

It is known to conserve a huge number of bird species and for being the home to a variety of Mammals, reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, herbs and shrubs. Peacocks can be spotted here in large numbers. The sanctuary is spread over multiple districts including Meerut, Ghaziabad, Bijnore and Jyotiba Phule Nagar. The nearest railhead is 40 km.
