The Venetian Loggia is Heraklion's Town hall located in Old Town. It is a beautiful architectural marvel that can be explored externally on a walking city tour. The building was initially used as a meeting place for nobles, but now it hosts administrative events and is temporarily closed for public visits. It takes about 15 minutes to explore the exteriors.
It is a two-storeyed building constructed in Palladian style. The first floor is designed and decorated differently from the second floor. The first floor adorns doric columns with a hall showcasing various sculptures while the second one consists of seven arches.
