Gadiara, Howrah Overview
Gadiara is a quaint little hamlet in the district of Howrah and a preferred picnic spot in the city. It is located to the south-west of the city of Howrah. Gadiara is where the three rivers converge - River Hooghly, River Roopnarayan and River Damodar. The village has various attractions in and around it, namely, the Fort Mornington - the ruins of an English fort which once stood tall in the town. It is a magnificent spot for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts. One of the popular tourist activity is the River cruise at sunset.
