Hyderabad is the most amazing place I've visited in the recent times. The most beautiful thing about this place are the people, culture, food (while writing this, I can still feel the taste of hydera (Read More)badi biryani). Overall my trip over here was greattt!!

A densely populated metropolitan city with people bustling in and out of cafes, offices, temples and even nowhere, Hyderabad is fast turning into the New York city of South India. Hyderabad, the capi (Read More)tal city of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, is fast becoming the IT hub. Most tourism here is business tourism. The city's boundaries have been extending far beyond the original city - now called the Old City - to include Secunderabad and new developments in adjacent municipalities. The city has its fair share of history and culture which now seems to be overtaken by the metro image with the sprawling cafes, malls and corporate buildings. Hyderabad also provides for a great gastronomical experience for spicy food lovers.

*Even though, Hyderabad is one of the safest big cities of India, women should avoid travelling alone at night. However, nightlife at Hyderabad is very dynamic and worth enjoying. *When visiting a re (Read More)ligious place try to dress traditionally, remove your shoes in the racks provided.Be alert when you come across beggars so that you don?t get robbed.

The road to go to Charminar has heavy traffic and crowded. The monument is not maintained as it should have been. There is a long queue to see it. Its not worth visiting this place after taking long (Read More)hours in traffic and then the queue. Specially if you are travelling with a kid, its worth giving this place a miss.

My sojourn at Hyderabad was thrilling and exciting. I visited many landmarks such as the Charminar, Golconda fort, Salar Jung Museum, Cream- Stone ice-cream parlor and Hussain Sagar Lake. The Golcond (Read More)a fort has picturesque beauty and I did click a number of photographs. Also, I loved the savoury Biryani- Hyderabad's most popular dish especially at hotel Paradise. The bustle of the city's markets gave me a nawabi feel. Hyderabad is a must for people travelling across South India.

I was steeped in curiosity at the many nooks and crannies that this fortified hill had to offer the first time I visited. Since the area explores an enormous amount of places to explore I?d recommend (Read More) sparing around 5 hours to explore the area well. The trek to the top of the hill where the baradari (urdu for 12 rooms) is, is lined with stone steps and I would recommend you wear sturdy footwear and carry water. Lying at a high vantage point, it offers beautiful views of Hyderabad and the sunset from here is heavenly, making the trek up worthwhile.

It's an overrated place, like so many places in Hyderabad. There's nothing special about this moment other than the historical significance and the various stories related to it. It is certainly not (Read More)a place to see after waiting in a long queue.

This could have been a main attraction of the city, a nice place for a walk or to relax. Only if it was maintained up to that level. The whole lake is so polluted that you will never want to visit it (Read More) again. Although, the Sanjeeviah park near to this lake is worth exploring.

Visited Lumbini Park on a Saturday night so it was way too crowded. DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON THE LASER SHOW unless you are interested in watching a lame Lazer lights show on fountains with random songs (Read More)playing in the background. Go eat biriyani instead.

An iconic landmark that now represents the city of Hyderabad, Charminar and the area surrounding it are steeped in history. Much more than just merely a landmark, Charminar is the springboard to Hyde (Read More)rabad?s old city. The stark contrast between the old city and Hyderabad's young, financial business area hit me as soon as the icon was within eyesight. There was something about the narrows lanes, traffic, mixed aromas and everything else that pleasantly assaulted the senses that represented the 'electric' vibe of this part of Hyderabad. What could make the experience even better is visiting the area during the holy Islamic month of Ramzaan where the entire area is decked up!

Yes it is a great trip through Godavari river. I visited few months ago. Enjoyed a lot. To thoroughly enjoy the serenity of the place, You need to plan for the 2 days trip where you will be given acc (Read More)ommodation in a bamboo hut in the middle of the forest. I traveled with a group of 7 other friends and stayed there for 4 days. A must go place for all nature lovers and someone who seeks relief from City chaos.

Having spent some time in Hyderabad, I have come to realise that it indeed is one of the best cities to live in. From the tourist point of view, there are a lot of attractions, most of which comprise (Read More) heritage monuments, forts and museums. Charminar, Golconda Fort, Mecca Masjid and Salar Jung Musuem are the places you must visit in the beginning of the trip itself, because you do not want to miss out on these. Charminar is the signature of the city and it gives you a photograph to remember forever. The city is versatile - from places of great historical value to the delectable cuisine. Take a heritage walk through the city to experience the grand culture it possesses. When in Hyderabad, visit the Ramoji Film City which is also one of the biggest film cities in India. You can shop at the Laad Bazaar which is famous for bangles.

Hyderabad, one of the biggest metropolitan cities in India is also an equally exciting city to just visit. The Charminar, the Juma Masjid and the Golkonda Fort are all must visit attractions while in (Read More) Hyderabad. However, one thing to take care in Hyderabad is not to try driving yourself. The people are very helpful and Hyderabad is generally considered a safe city. The city has a wide range of hotels that can accommodate any kind of traveler. Hyderabad is known for its wonderful food. Osmania biscuits and the iconic 'Hyderabadi Biryani' are a must try.

- Drunken driving is not tolerated and police enforce the rule strictly. After 11PM almost all the roads have police patrols and check drunk driving. If caught you may end up paying fines, apart from (Read More) vehicle being seized and couple of rounds to police station in worst case scenarios.
- Old city was historically a community sensitive zone and is best to avoid late night visits to this area.
- Hyderabad is a relatively safe metro with rare muggings or thefts. It is still advisable to avoid staying out late at night, especially for women.
