A small rocky island situated on the south western side of Ibiza, Es Vedra is a 400 metre tall rock island that forms a part of the Cala d'Hort nature reserve. An uninhabited island, Es Vedra is surrounded by mysteries and myths that lure the traveler to check out this place for sure.

Ibiza is known to be the island of mysteries and one of the perfect examples for this is the beautiful island of Es Vedra. Almost 400 metres tall, this uninhabited rock island is considered to be the third most magnetic spot on earth. It is situated 2km away from the west coast of Ibiza. One can have an amazing view of it from the Cala d'Hort bay or one might trek up to the Torre de Savinar pirate tower in order to catch hold of some spectacular scenery. The island is backed by numerous myths, legends and superstitions. It is also said to have an unexplainable healing energy according to the myths. Some say that it was the home of the sea nymphs and sirens as well as the birth place of Tanit, the Phoenician goddess. It is not known whether the myths are true or not, one should visit this place in order to cherish the scenic beauty.
