Harder Kulm, Interlaken Overview

Harder Kulm is a prominent viewpoint located approximately 1.5 kilometers north of Interlaken's town center in Switzerland. Perched at an elevation of 1,322 meters, it offers panoramic vistas of the Bernese Alps, including peaks like Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau, as well as Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. Several trails of varying difficulty levels originate from Harder Kulm. It can be reached by hiking or via Harderbahn funicular departs from the Harderbahn Valley station in Interlaken.

The ride to the summit takes about 10 minutes. The funicular operates from mid-April to November, with departures every 30 minutes. The overhanging Two Lakes Bridge provides a unique vantage point for photography and sightseeing. There is a a restaurant on the summit that resempbles a castle.
