Invercargill's history and live fossils
This gallery is close to the entrance of Queens Park. It has three galleries which exhibit Invercargill's human history as well as natural history. There is also a tuatara where visitors see live fossils from a close quarter.
However, the museum is permanently closed due to earthquake hazard.
