Kilyos, Istanbul Overview
Kilyos is a charming village on the Black Sea coast situated to the north of Istanbul, approximately a 30-45 minute drive from the city center, and about 50 kilometers from Ataturk Airport. It is popularly known for its pristine beaches like Solar Beach, Burç Beach, Uzunya Beach and, Tırmata Beach. Most beaches charge an entrance fee, typically up to 100 TL per person which mostly collected in cash.
Several beach clubs offer shuttle services from Istanbul, making the trip even more convenient. Check in advance for availability. Other things to do in Kilyos include taking nature walks, fishing, eating seafood, and trying kiteboarding, windsurfing, beach volleyball, basketball, and jet skiing.
