The Kale Hanuman Ji Temple, often known as the Kale Hanuman Ji Ka Mandir, is a Hindu temple in the Chandi ki Taksal neighbourhood of Jaipur, Rajasthan. It is known for housing a unique black statue of Lord Hanuman.
The Kale Human Mandir is dedicated to Lord Hanuman, known for his services to Lord Rama, and is visited by many who come to seek blessings and also to learn about Hindu traditions. The temple is said to be over 1,000 years old, making it one of Jaipur’s oldest, and is known mainly for its stone idol of Lord Hanuman which is black in colour and not red or orange as is usually the case. It is a wonderful place to meditate under the guidance of the temple priest and to learn about spirituality too. One can attend aartis which are regularly organised here as well as many other special ceremonies.
