Hanwant Mahal, Jodhpur Overview

Situated in close vicinity to Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Hanwant Palace is a five-star luxury hotel that provides a royal dining experience to its guests. Originally considered to be the hunting palace of the Rajas. The kings used to retreat here after their hunting expeditions and stop here for meals and drinks etc. Spread over three storeys, the Mahal also conducts dinners in the beautiful garden on the other side of the hotel adorned with flower beds and fountains. The first floor of the hotel has an indoor seating with historical Rajasthani decor adorning the walls and the spaces. It is divided into two sections- one side is the private section which has to be booked before hand depending on the number of guests visiting. The other side is the general seating. The floor has live music performances by different bands on different artists. In addition to this, there is also a separate dining room which can be booked individually by couples to have a romantic dinner in quiet and privacy.

The second floor has outdoor seating for a fine dine and wine experience. Just the same, this one is also divided into two sections- one that can be pre booked and the other that has general seating. From here you can spot the majestic and mesmerizing Umaid Bhawan Palace in the vicinity and enjoy your delicious food with an even better view.

Food at Hanwant Mahal

Mouth-watering savoury food is served like it used to be in the olden golden days at Hanwant Mahal. Soon after you are seated, the luxury hospitality begins by the serving of conical shaped papads with four dips- strawberry and yogurt, mint, red chili and mustard sauces. You can also try the amazing drinks which are prepared by the special recipes of the house. But you can also find the regular drinks on the menu. The food is essentially Rajasthani and North Indian but has an extensive variety on the list.
