Hosdurg Fort, Kasaragod Overview
Hosdurg Fort is a majestic fort which can be seen from distance and was established by Ikkeri Dynasty king Somashekhara Nayaka. There is a unique feature to this fort in form of its round bastion.
Today, this fort houses school and few government offices. If you are visiting the fort, also visit the popular Nityanandashram which is comprise of nearly 45 caves. Another major spot lying in the proximity to the fort is the Poonkavanam Karpooreshwar Temple.
