Dafnoudi Beach is one of Greece's most scenic and isolated beaches, located at the northern end of Kefalonia island, 5 km from the Fiskardo fishing village. The shore is made of white pebble stones and mesmerising emerald waters. The coved beach has a small cave providing shade from direct sunlight and is surrounded by a lush green coniferous forest.
Visitors can enjoy a short hike down an 800m steep trail through the dense forest to reach the beach at the foot of the slope. Mediterranean monk seals can be spotted on the beach sometimes. Several eateries specialising in traditional Greek cuisine are at a short distance. Carry your own food, sunbeds, and towels as there are no facilities on the beach.
