Yoruk Park, Kemer Overview
Yoruk Park is an open-air museum in Kemer dedicated to Yoruks, the ancient tribes of Turks. A walk through this theme park educates you on Yoruk’s historical background, culture, and traditions. There are several themed tents in the park, including weaving and family tents with figures that depict the nomadic life of the Yoruk.
Food tents in the park offer Turkish drinks and dishes with Yoruk flavors, such as gozleme which is a stuffed Turkish flatbread. You can also watch it being prepared here. While folk music accompanied by dance performances are a highlight, this tranquil park amid nature also has a mosque and a traditional market.
