Nestled in the thriving locality of Edappally, the Changampuzha Samskarika Kendram (CSK) stands as a haven for art and culture enthusiasts. Spanning across a one-acre and fifty-five-cent public park, the CSK is a living tribute to the renowned Malayalam romantic poet, Changampuzha Krishna Pillai. The park, named after the poet, has become a vibrant cultural hub within the Greater Cochin area.

The CSK's journey began in 1997, fueled by the passion of art and culture lovers. With a commitment to promoting the unique cultural heritage of Kerala, CSK has grown to include over 3000 life members, 17 institutional members, and three organizational members. The center operates under the Charitable and Cultural Societies Act, with a 32-member executive committee at its helm.

The objectives of CSK extend beyond commercial motives, emphasizing the revival and development of Kerala's heritage in literature, music, Kathakali, dance, painting, and sculpture. The executive committee, led by President Mr. P. Prakash, Secretary Mr. T. G. Ravikumar, and Treasurer Mr. Jose Pettah, oversees the center's policies, coordinates activities, and supports various cultural initiatives.

CSK boasts a diverse range of sector-wise units, including Edappally Kathakali Aswadaka Sadas, Edappally Sangeetha Sadas, Edappally Senior Citizens Forum, and Edappally Nruthaswadaka Sadas. These units, conceived by founder president Mr. K. Balachandran, contribute to the vibrant cultural landscape of Kerala.

The park hosts approximately 300 cultural engagements annually, featuring Kathakali, dance and music recitals, dramas, award presentations, memorial meetings, and more. CSK stands out by providing free access to its facilities, including stages, lighting arrangements, sound systems, and nearly a thousand chairs.
