National Parks
The Kirirom National Park - The Kirirom National Park is located in Kampong Speu in southwest Cambodia in the Cardamom mountain range. The park offers excellent cold weather as it is situated above 700 meters from the sea level. It is surrounded by cliffs, pine trees, wooded hills, Buddhist shrines and splendid views of Cardamom mountains. It is a popular day-trip destination for tourists visiting Phnom Penh as well as Koh Rong, who enjoy the waterfalls, lakes and many species of birds that reside in the park.
Botum Sakor National Park - It is the largest national park in Cambodia that can be visited from Koh Kong and Sihanoukville provinces.
Beaches and Islands
The Lazy Beach is a private beach located on the western side of the island of Koh Rong Samloem near the coast of Sihanoukville city, in Cambodia. Secluded from other islands and the mainland, it is a clean stretch of white sand beach popular among tourists looking for beach day trips from Koh Kong. Travelers can enjoy many activities from swimming to snorkelling to boat trips in the Lazy Beach.
Long Set is a beach located close to Koh Toch in Cambodia. It is known for the many luxurious resorts along the coast, where tourists spend their beach vacations. It is also called as 4k beach by the locals but actually stretches for about 3km consisting of white sand and palm trees. It’s named after the farmer who grows cashew, mango, and coconut trees behind the beach on land bisected by a river and surrounded by lush jungle.
Koh Tang, also known as Tang Island, is a group of islands off the coast of Sihanoukville, which are visited by travelers exploring Koh Kong as well. There are no civilians on this island maintained by the Cambodian military, and people come to enjoy day-trips.
