Kuala Terengganu, also abbreviated as K.T., is the capital of Terengganu state of Malaysia. It is a full package of all in one attractions ranging from beaches to waterfalls to mosques. If you have time, you must visit Pulau Perehtian which can be reached from Kuala Besut Jetty and is approximately a 4 hour journey and Pantai Batu Buruk Beach famed for watersports and jungle treks is just a 5km drive. You can drive to Seberang Takir by Asia’s Biggest Draw Bridge that of Kuala Terengganu Draw Bridge which connects the Mura Selatan from South Bank to Muara Utara in North Bank.
Chinatown of Kuala Terengganu is renowned for its wall arts and gorgeous Murals. When walking through Chinatown, pay a visit to Ho An Buddist Temple and Teck Soon Heritage House bright with hues of blue. The Crystal Mosque in KT is a grand structure made of steel, glass and crystal and offers a magnificent view.
