The rooftop viewing platform is the major draw, offering panoramic views of the Tagus River. Objective Information : The monument is a busy tourist spot, especially during midday. Early mornings or late afternoons are the best times to avoid crowds and enjoy the views. The rooftop platform can be windy, so dress accordingly. While there are no extensive dining options on-site, the nearby Belem area has cafes and restaurants, including the famous Pasteis de Belem bakery.
