Chavasse Park

Chavasse Park is a spacious and open area in Liverpool. The park hosts an extensive array of events throughout the year which entail Dog Shows, Sketching takeovers, Chess festivals and sporting events. This garden is a fantastic place to relax and have outings with family or friends.

This Park has been named after the Chavasse family members who actively contributed to the city’s welfare and popularity. The park is highly recognised for its greenery and clean environment and is known to be the largest green roof in Europe. Many people prefer visiting this park since it is very calm and environment-friendly. Hence, It is a go-to picnic spot for many families and friends.
There is also a Nature Trail which is a great activity for all those interested in exploring the flora and fauna in the park. It takes place every year and is free of cost. It was named in memory of the Chavasse family. 350 species can be found at the Chavasse Park and it presents more than 15,000 pollinator-friendly plants to promote biodiversity in the city. 

Chavasse Park has been awarded the esteemed Green Flag Award for 10 consecutive years which throws light on its hygiene, litter management, overall condition, biological diversity and the standard and regularity of activities conducted at the park. There is an interesting restaurant called the Club House an unusual Hampton-themed restaurant that is ideal for celebrations and gatherings.
