Located in the Wichayen road in Lopburi, it is known to the visitors as the infamous monkey temple due to the abundant monkeys that have made it their home.
It is also called as the monkey temple and it predominantly contains the ruins which are influenced by the Khmer architecture. It has 3 prangs which are 800 years old and out of the three prangs, one Prang is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and the other two being dedicated to Lord Buddha. The annual Lopburi Monkey Festival is held here in the last week of November. It is good to be cautious at this temple as there are numerous monkeys playing around and trying to steal food and belongings from the visitors.
