The Japanese Garden in Los Angeles was built as a center for experiencing the authentic Japanese culture and stands a symbol of friendship between the city and Japan. With various elements that adds to the whole feel as if you were actually in the country, the garden also has probably one of the most beautiful and intricately detailed lake within the park that looks like it came straight out of Japan itself, filled with turtles and fishes. Considered as a retreat for the locals and tourists from the hustle of the city, this garden is located in the Lake Balboa District.
