Placerita Creek Falls is a part of Placerita Canyon Nature Center and offers a quaint waterfall hike with San Gabriel Mountains in the backdrop. Flanked with scenic ledges and rugged terrain for horse rides, this falls is best visited when the winter snow melts to feed it. At the foot of the falls, there are several oak beds and oil seeps as well as an impressive European fireplace to sit by. The hiking trail is dappled in shade with lots of picnic spots, ideal for families and furry friends. Placerita Creek Falls also boasts of a looped Ecology Trail for those interested in local Californian flora.
