The Broad

Sited on Grand Avenue in Downtown Los Angeles, The Broad is a contemporary art museum which houses more than 2000 collections from various artists across the globe. The three-story museum is designed on a concept of ‘Veil and Vault’ which shrouds the treasury of the museum’s core from the daylight, allowing it to feature and maintain an elegant ambiance for the artworks. The structure is in itself a piece of art exhibiting the art lovers with majestic pieces and displays.

Yoyoi Kusuma’s Infinity Mirrored Room- The Souls of Millions of Light Years Away is one such Kaleidoscopic display which is a must-visit for each aesthetic lover.  The walk surrounded by mirror-lined chambers decorated with starry LED lights is one of the dreamy experiences that the museum promises. With the galleries sheltered with artworks like Two Marilyns and few occasional performance arts, the place is a visual delight for each of its visitors. There are also many ephemeral and beautiful exhibitions held by the museum apart from its permanent collections which can be spectated at some additional charges. You can always buy souvenirs of your visit from ‘The Shop’ inside the museum which features a large range of merchandise ranging from museum’s brand to other artworks. The museum also holds a contemporary restaurant to provide visitors the leisure time and a refreshing break from strolling amidst its beautiful galleries.
