If you plan to rent a bike to reach Ban Aen, make sure you have sufficient fuel as there are no stations on the road once you go out of Luang Prabang town.
The road to the village is not in good condition. Hence it is advised to drive carefully.

How To Reach Tad Sae Waterfall

You can get to the town by renting a motorbike which costs about 5 to 6 USD per day and park it off near the entry to boats. You can also reach Ban Aen by hiring a tuk-tuk from Luang Prabang, which costs about 150000 LAK per person for a return trip, which can be shared. The price also includes waiting charges. It takes about 30 to 40 minutes to arrive at the village.
