Jungfraujoch, Lucerne Overview

The Jungfraujoch is a saddle connecting two major 4000ers of the Bernese Alps: the Jungfrau and the Mönch. It is located in Switzerland and is the highest point in Europe. Tourists visit here for majestic views and to experience the snow around them.

Jungfraujoch lies at an elevation of 3,463 meters (11,362 feet) above sea level. Therefore, here, you can experience snowy breezes and a lot of snow crushing below your feet. Visitors can stand on the highest point of the Swiss Alps, walk through icy caves, play with snow, and enjoy the panoramic views of the Alps. It is also the highest train station in Europe; visitors reach here by train. After reaching Jungfraujoch, one should ride the elevator up to the Sphinx Terrace for one of the best views of the day, and then one can ride the elevator back down to the underground tunnel and walk out to the Aletsch Glacier. There's a snow park too for the visitors there, and you can go snow tubing, zip lining, skiing, or snowboarding.
