Begum Hazrat Mahal Park, Lucknow Overview
Located in Qaiserbagh in Lucknow, Begum Hazrat Mahal Park is a popular park. Hosting swings and a play area for kids, this crowd-favourite picnic spot is also a great place for walks, jobs, elderly laughing clubs, yoga and meditation.
The park houses a memorial structure in the name of Begum Hazrat Mahal who played a vital role in the 1857 revolt. This marble building was initially commemorated at the Old Victoria Park of Hazratganj in 1962.
The park is also used as a popular venue for various religious festivals, art exhibits and school programmes as well. Besides lush greenery, Begum Hazrat Mahal Park also has a couple of fountains, a floral garden and stone walkways. There are a few food stalls close to the park as well.
